Derek Kage Drops Knowledge on Get Schooled Podcast
(Hollywood, CA) Southern gentleman and multi-award-winning creator and adult entertainer Derek Kage is the latest guest on Marcela Alonso's Get Schooled Podcast, and it’s one of the most in-depth interviews he’s done about his career, career choices, and dating life.
Derek Kage and Get Schooled host Marcela Alonso get up close and personal in the latest episode. “When You Play for Both Teams: Derek Kage” opens with the two talking about Derek growing up in the South and his life before adult. Derek and Marcela then discuss how he started in the gay part of the industry and diversified into other genres, first with fan sites six years ago and then making the leap into studio work four years ago. The conversation gets even more interesting when they get into prepping for anal scenes, Derek being a Gemini and adapting to situations as a switch, online dating and hookup sites, how PrEP has changed the industry, the importance of being humble, consent and other performers respecting what’s on your no-list, how there’s so much to a trans woman that makes her a woman beyond her femininity, being confident in what you like—no matter who or what that is, and much more.
“This was a fun podcast—we talked about so many things, and I got to drop some knowledge. Marcela is great, and her show is smart, which many in the industry appreciate, and it comes across in a positive light. You definitely want to check this one out,” says Derek Kage.
